Dancing in the rain! what does that mean?
You know that God is trying to tell you something when everywhere you go you keep hearing the same message.
We had a guest speaker at church he told a story of a famous violin player who in the middle of a very important recital one string of his violin pop, then 2, then 3 so he is left with one string on the violin but he never miss a beat. He kept on playing. He also read in Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
As I stumble thought the most difficult time of my life, at time I feel like just curl up in the hole and not come out. Have a pity party bash and cry my eyes out until something good come up, just in the mist of it all that sweet small voice is saying “dance anyway”
It’s not about going through the storm…
It’s about how you go through the storm.
It’s about learning to keep on playing when all your string pop out and you only have one left. It’s about dancing in the rain.
It’s about praising God even when it’s all bad, not in a religious kinda way but in confidence! Knowing that I’m a child of the King.
A King who promised good to me.
A King who watch over his words to perform it.
A King who does not lie.
A King who loves me.
When you know that, it’s not hard at all to dance in the rain.
Now I invite you to clank your heels and flip your hair back and forth and dance like it’s your birthday!!
